Privacy Policy
01Who we are
CezDesigns is an independent freelance web design business based in Dublin, Ireland ("CezDesigns", "we", "us"). For the purposes of GDPR, CezDesigns is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and in the course of client projects, unless stated otherwise.
02What we collect
We only collect what's actually gathered through this website and our client work — nothing more:
- Contact form submissions — name, business name, email address, what you're enquiring about, and the message you send us, via the project enquiry form on this site.
- Direct contact — anything you send us by email or phone, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Client project information — where you become a client, business details, content you provide for your website, and billing/invoicing information as needed to deliver and be paid for the project.
- Technical information — standard technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider as part of normal web server operation, such as IP address, browser/device type and general usage of the site (see our Cookie Policy for more on this).
We do not run an account system, online checkout or newsletter on this website, so we don't collect passwords, payment card details or marketing-list subscriptions through it.
03Why we collect it, and our legal basis
- Replying to enquiries — to respond to your contact form submission or email. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and/or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- Delivering a project — to design, build, deliver and invoice a website for a client. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- Legal and accounting obligations — keeping records such as invoices for tax purposes. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Keeping the site running securely — technical information collected by our hosting provider. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.
04Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. We share it only where necessary to run this website and deliver our services:
- Netlify — our hosting provider, which hosts this website and processes contact form submissions (Netlify Forms) on our behalf as a data processor.
- Our email provider — enquiries sent via the contact form, or directly by email, are received in our email inbox and handled under that provider's own security and privacy practices.
- Client project services — where a client project uses specific third-party services (for example a booking platform, payment provider or other integration), those services process relevant data under their own privacy policies, and are agreed with the client as part of the project.
- Legal requirements — if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We don't use specific data processors beyond what's listed here unless they're actually part of delivering this website or a client project.
05How long we keep it
We keep contact form and enquiry data for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and for a limited period afterwards in case of follow-up, then delete or anonymise it. Client project information, including invoices, is kept for as long as needed to deliver the project and to meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations (Irish tax law generally requires business records to be kept for at least six years).
06International transfers
Some of the service providers we use, including our hosting provider, may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards required under GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses, to help ensure your data is protected to a comparable standard.
07Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data we hold, and rely on our hosting and service providers' own security measures for infrastructure we don't directly control. However, no website or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
08Your GDPR rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Ask us to delete your data, where applicable
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format, where applicable
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

10Contact & complaints
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, or want to exercise your GDPR rights, contact CezDesigns at cezarycichy03@gmail.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC): www.dataprotection.ie, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland.
This Privacy Policy describes, as accurately as we can, what this website and our client work actually collect and how it's used — it's a professional starting point rather than a claim of guaranteed legal compliance in every circumstance, and hasn't been independently reviewed by a solicitor. If you have specific data protection questions, we'd recommend seeking independent advice.
