Who we are

What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, phone number, email address, service address and Eircode, and whatever you tell us about the job.
- Job records — what we did, when, what it cost, and any photographs or survey footage taken as part of the work.
- Technical data — basic, anonymous information about how this website is used.
Why we use it
- To quote for, schedule and carry out the work you have asked for (performance of a contract).
- To keep records required by law, including gas certification and tax records (legal obligation).
- To handle warranty claims and insurance matters (legitimate interests).
- To send you service reminders, only where you have asked us to (consent).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the suppliers we need to in order to do the work — for example our accounting software provider, our payment processor, and where relevant your insurer or letting agent at your request. All are bound by data-processing terms.
How long we keep it
Job and invoice records are retained for seven years to satisfy Revenue requirements. Gas certification is retained for the period required by RGI. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after twelve months.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to info@northgateplumbing.ie and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
