We want this site to work for everyone. Here is where we stand, and how to tell us when it does not.
Our commitment
This website has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of the build rather than something bolted on afterwards.
What that means in practice
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator throughout
- Text meets or exceeds the required contrast ratios against its background
- Headings follow a logical order, and landmarks let screen-reader users skip to the content
- All meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology
- Form fields have visible, permanently associated labels — not placeholder text alone
- Animation is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion
- The layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling, and text can be resized to 200% without loss of content
Known limitations
- The embedded map is supplied by OpenStreetMap and we do not control its accessibility. Every address and service area shown on a map is also written out in text on the same page.
- Some photography is decorative and carries an empty alt attribute by design.
